Purpose:
The purpose of the district Shared Decision Making Team is to work on matters relating to improving all students’ achievement. The Board of Education assists with the development of and then adopts the District’s Shared Decision Making Plan which must be reviewed at least every two years. The Wynantskill Union Free School District SDM plan was revised and adopted in September 2006 as per 8 N.Y.C.R.R. 100.11
Summary of work completed in 2006—2007:
The SDM completed all of the work charged by the Board of Education this year. Both the By-Laws and the HS choice pamphlet are posted on the District Website and the Capital Project was recently approved by the voters in May. The Committee will review the edited Parent Handbook when finalized by the Administration.
