Arts in Education

Each year at Gardner Dickinson School a variety of performers are brought into the school as a means of promoting "the arts" in education. A committee of teachers from our Art, Music, and Library programs, along with classroom teacher(s), and administrator(s) meet to select and organize these events. PTO is adding further financial support to these events, and a PTO member has also joined this group. The programs change from year to year and include dancers, musicians, artists, authors, and puppeteers. All performances meet state standards.
