PTO MEETING HIGHLIGHTS
SEPTEMBER 11, 2007
Treasurers Report: Approved. Year to Date Financial Budget.
June Basketball Camp: Went very well. 44 kids participated.
Budget for 2007/2008: Approved.
Membership Drive: Chairperson, Debbie Kane. Looking for a way to get 100% class participation. Debbie’s idea is to have on each classroom door (lower grades) a flower pot. Once a membership form is returned the student will get a flower with their name on it to add to the flower pot. Also looking for some incentive for the parents and teachers. (Possibility of 2 free tickets to the spring social.)
Back to School Night:
PTO table volunteer for 9/25 – Sally Lauletta
PTO table volunteer for 9/26 – Debbie Kane
Fall Basketball Camp: To late to set up for this year. Will table in June for next year.
Yankee Candle Fundraiser: Chairperson, Ann Marsh. Committee members, Judy Testo, Kendra Lewis, Christine Curran. Packets went home week of 9/10. Sale will run until 9/24. Delivery date expected by Thanksgiving.
Price Chopper Tools for School: Chairperson, Eileen Miner. Eileen will assist anyone having difficulty registering.
Hannaford Helps: Chairperson, Eileen Miner. Need to purchase a minimum of 4 items before receiving certificate. Drop certificate in the box located by the door when leaving.
Box Tops: Chairperson, Martha Thomas.
Banking: Chairperson, Nancy Pullen. Information packets will be sent home soon. Children are able to deposit money every Thursday.
School Pictures: October 12th. Volunteers needed.
Kindergarten Family Night: Volunteers: Tara Ham and Jill Harris.
Craft Fair: Chairperson, MaryLou Lefevre. All spots are taken. Many vendors are on a wait list. Looking to possibly set vendors up outside if interested.
Roller-Skating:

4/4/: Janice Kerwin and Felicia Dickinson
Simply Certificates: Chairperson, Tammy Miller. Packets to go home week of October 22nd. Sale will run until November 19th. Delivery date December 7th. Possibility that the eighth grade will be selling Simply Certificates at the craft fair.
Apparel Sale: Looking to run the apparel sale in late February or early March.
· Mr. Lynskey indicated to the PTO he has money left in his petty cash fund from last year. Will come to us when he is in need of more.
