First graders practiced writing on Oct. 2 as they learned about Skribblers, a magazine that publishes student stories and artwork.
Students learned about different types of stories and brainstormed ideas that they could write about.
“Writing is your power to get your ideas out,” said Managing Editor Dr. Tammy Ellis Robinson. “I’m sure you have lots of great ideas. I can’t wait to read what you write.”
