School Budget Voting Information

The school budget vote and Board of Education elections will take place Tuesday, June 9. New York State delayed the date due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Voting will take place only through absentee ballot, as directed by Governor Andrew Cuomo’s executive order.

Every eligible voter will receive an absentee ballot and a postage paid return envelope in the mail.

You are an eligible voter if you are:

  • A legal US citizen
  • 18 years old by June 9, 2020
  • Registered to vote
  • Live within the Wynantskill UFSD boundaries for at least 30 days prior to June 9, 2020

Absentee ballots will be sent to all qualified voters on the most recent year’s poll lists. Anyone who meets the qualified voter definition but does not believe their name will appear on the school district’s poll list should please contact District Clerk Sharon Hillis at as soon as possible to ensure timely receipt of an absentee ballot.
