I want to thank the Wynantskill UFSD community for their continued support, patience and understanding throughout a very challenging time.
Since the beginning of this pandemic, we have worked to navigate changing state guidance and changing conditions. Earlier today, the District Superintendent of Questar III BOCES sent a letter to Dr. Mary T. Bassett, Commissioner of the New York State Department of Health, on behalf of superintendents in our region. The letter asks for the state’s leadership and partnership in charting a path to help transition the focus of our schools away from COVID distractions and restrictions and back to our core mission of educating students.
Please know that our administrative team, along with our Board of Education, support the development of a pathway back to normalcy with clear direction from the state. We will continue to advocate on behalf of all our students and staff.
