Wynantskill UFSD is pleased to announce the Honor Roll for the Second Marking Period!
In middle school, students in grades six, seven, and eight are eligible to earn placement on our Honor Roll or High Honor Roll list for exemplary academic achievement.
Students who have achieved a quarterly Grade Point Average (GPA) of 94.50 or higher qualify for High Honor Roll and those who have achieved a GPA of 89.50 or higher qualify for Honor Roll. When calculating quarterly averages, classes that meet daily weigh a 1.0 percent of the numeric grade, while courses that meet on alternating days weigh a .5 percent.
When we publish the Honor/High Honor Roll, we will publish student names by grade level and alphabetical order.
At the end of the third quarter in eighth grade, we will calculate each student’s class ranking. This rank is based on courses taken during eighth grade only. The top two students for the 2022- 2023 school year will be recognized as the Valedictorian and the Salutatorian.
