There will be a special meeting on Monday, June 5th, 2023 to enter executive session for the reason of point 6, The medical, financial, credit, or employment history of a particular person or corporation, or matters leading to the appointment, employment, promotion, demotion,
discipline, suspension, dismissal, or removal of a particular person or corporation.
For any members who would like to participate in the upcoming Wynantskill PTA Officer election, voting for Nominees will occur at the upcoming PTA meeting on 5/25/23.
The Nominating Committee met on 5/21/2023 with the following members present:

Jaime Vooris
Jennie Brown
The committee acted in accordance with the Wynantskill PTA Bylaws and followed the guidelines set forth in the PTA Manual for the Nominating Committee. Voting for Nominees will occur at the upcoming PTA meeting on 5/25/23.
The following names are placed in nomination to serve as officers of the Wynantskill PTA for the 7/1/23 – 6/30/25 term.

Attention 2023 Seniors who attended GD:
On June 12th at 12:30 pm, GD will be offering a walkthrough for any 2023 Seniors who attended GD! Walk through the halls of GD in your cap and gown, say hello to former teachers, and take a class reunion picture! Please RSVP to Kyle Barber and kbarber@wynantskillufsd.org if you’d like to attend.

“A huge thank you to our entire Wynantskill school community for their continuous support and the overwhelmingly positive budget vote results,” says Superintendent Dr. Yodis. “This new budget will allow us to implement new and essential safety and educational initiatives such as a School Resource Officer, technology advancements and curriculum enhancements. Your endorsement of these initiatives demonstrates your commitment to the safety, progress, and educational excellence of our students.”
PROPOSITION #1 – Passed-135 YES / 25 NO
PROPOSITION #1 the 2023-2024 Budget as recommended by the Administration as follows: Shall the Board of Education of the Wynantskill Union Free School District, Rensselaer County, New York be authorized to expend the total amount of $10,546,565 during the school year 2023-2024 and to levy the necessary tax therefore.
PROPOSITION #2 – Passed-132 YES / 29 NO
PROPOSITION #2, the 2023-24 Bus Proposal as recommended by the Administration as follows: Shall the Board of Education of the Wynantskill Union Free School District, Rensselaer County, New York be authorized to (1) acquire one SCHOOL BUS, at a maximum aggregate cost of $146,000.00 (2) expend such sum, or so much thereof as shall be necessary; and (3) shall be paid from the current appropriation.
