Click Here to View Veteran’s Day Assembly Photos!

The Wynantskill UFSD is proud to share photos from the Veteran’s Day assembly that was held this morning honoring the men and women who have served or continue to serve in the armed forces. We’d like to spotlight our fantastic band and chorus that played and sang during our assembly, 1st graders for presenting their “What I Can Do Because of You” poems, our 3-5th graders for the Setting of the Soldier’s Table, and 6th graders for handing out thank you letters to our Veterans in attendance. Veterans were able to enjoy refreshments in our cafeteria after the assembly with their families!

We’d like to thank the Veterans who attended and everything they’ve done and continue to do for us!

Thank you First Responders and Be Respectful Assembly Slideshows!

Today, GD held two assemblies – one to thank First Responders, and one about being respectful! One of our amazing 7th-grade students, Anthony Adams, spoke about who First Responders are and what they do to help and keep us safe. The entire school came together to make baskets full of cards and goodies to present to each department! A slideshow was also presented to honor family members of students who are First Responders!

The 8th-grade student advisory also made a wonderful slideshow to review with every student how to be respectful to each other in places like the classroom, playground, and bus!
