Gardner-Dickinson’s Second Annual Pumpkin Run!

Yesterday to celebrate Halloween, GD students participated in our second annual Pumpkin Run! Students enjoyed an afternoon of donuts, pumpkins, juice, and getting to see their families come out and cheer them on in their races!

Thank you First Responders and Be Respectful Assembly Slideshows!

Today, GD held two assemblies – one to thank First Responders, and one about being respectful! One of our amazing 7th-grade students, Anthony Adams, spoke about who First Responders are and what they do to help and keep us safe. The entire school came together to make baskets full of cards and goodies to present to each department! A slideshow was also presented to honor family members of students who are First Responders!

The 8th-grade student advisory also made a wonderful slideshow to review with every student how to be respectful to each other in places like the classroom, playground, and bus!
